You may think that the Samsung S20 unlocked is the hands down winner between these two phones, after all why would Samsung make a better phone for a lower price, but you would be wrong to not take a close look at this comparison and decide for yourself which phone is better for you.
In our previous review of the Samsung A71 unlocked we showed you how the A71 international version has a 4,500 mAH battery as well as 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It’s Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Super AMOLED Display is 6.7 inches, which is large enough to see the beautiful pictures its 64 MP camera takes. You can compare that to the Samsung Galaxy S20 International Version.
The S20 has a 4000 mAH battery and the added features of Fast Wireless charging aswell as Reverse Wireless charging. The Samsung S20 unlocked has 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage, but if you want to insert an SD card, you’ll have to use the second SIM slot to do so. The A71 has a dedicated slot so you can have 2 SIM cards and an SD card slot. The S20 international version really shines when it comes to the display. With the 1440x3200 pixels and ppi density of 563, it looks significantly better than the 393 ppi of the A71. Moreover, the factory unlocked S20 has Gorilla Glass 6 and weighs 163 grams vs. the 179 grams of the factory unlocked A71. Lastly, the S20 is dust and water resistant up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 mins, but the A71 is not.
With all this said, it is for you to decide whether you want to spend double the money for the S20. In my opinion, the Samsung Galaxy A71 A715F gives you the most for your money. And as an added bonus, the A71 A715F unlocked has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, but the S20 does not.
